the bauhaus series was inspired by the bauhaus art movement (1919 – 1933) in germany. the bauhaus is one of the most important art schools of the 20th century. it was the first school to nurture an inter-disciplinarian approach to design in the fields of graphic design, painting, architecture, photography and industrial design. this series explores a three dimensional architectural approach to works blurring the lines between traditional painting and sculpture while building upon the unique aesthetic of european modernism.
