mr. olschlager’s summer internship with the national park service included documenting the sargent samuel hartwell farmhouse at minuteman national historic park in concord, massachusetts. all that remained of the site was the basement walls and the central brick chimney because of a fire. mr. olschlager proposed as a student project at ndsu to leave the chimney exposed and build an underground interpretive museum around the ruins.
